009 – hob di gern – I love you – leave me alone

You say “i hob di gern” when you are in love with somebody. If you change this phrase slightly in “Geh, hob mi gern” (which means: I love myself), then you express anger or severe annoyance and you tell your friend: “Leave me alone” or “Get lost!”.
